Two new games are slated to debut this Friday. The first is Kanagawa where each player is an apprenticed artist attempting to craft the most harmonious panoramic painting. The art on the cards and the unique pieces are especially nice.
The second is Trick of the Rails which is a cross between a standard trick taking card game and 18xx railroad game. The game alternates between stock and track laying rounds. It takes a little doing to wrap around the concept, but looks very interesting.
Both games are fairly short (under an hour) and teaching should be straight-forward.
I have this Friday off, so if anyone wants to come earlier, it shouldn't be a problem - just let me know.
Hope to see you on Friday.
